MEET KEVIN

Kevin Hagen is a longtime Valparaiso resident, husband, and dad with a long track record of service and leadership.

Kevin has spent decades working in community and nonprofit settings, leading organizations, managing budgets, and helping people navigate difficult moments with dignity and common sense. His experience spans nonprofit service, operational leadership, and hands-on community involvement focused on helping people get back on their feet.

He’s running for Center Township Trustee to bring a steady, practical approach to the office, one that’s accessible, responsible with taxpayer dollars, and focused on helping neighbors when it matters most.

Priorities

The Trustee’s role is to help people through short-term hardship so small problems don’t become lasting crises. Kevin believes assistance should be fair, temporary, and delivered with dignity and respect.

Helping Neighbors Through Tough Times

When someone reaches out for help, they deserve a real response. Kevin is committed to an office that answers the phone, returns calls, and helps people understand their options without unnecessary red tape.

Accessible, Responsive Trustee’s Office

Compassion and accountability go hand in hand. Kevin will make sure township resources are managed carefully, transparently, and used only for qualifying needs, protecting the public trust while serving the community.

Responsible Use of Taxpayer Dollars

Kevin believes people want to help and that local government should work alongside nonprofits, service groups, and community partners to do more for neighbors and stretch limited resources further.
